To reach the APH Park & Ride with EV Charging near Gatwick Airport, follow these directions from the M23 motorway:
From the M23 Junction 10 (East Grinstead exit):
Continue as follows:
Go straight over the first roundabout (take the 2nd exit).
At the next roundabout, take the 4th exit onto the A2220, signposted Maidenbower.
Follow the A2220, keeping an eye out for signs to APH Parking Centre.
Drive past the Texaco Petrol Station – note that some SatNavs may try to direct you here.
After approx. 0.25 miles, turn right into Crawley Garden Centre.
Look for the APH entrance sign on your right.
Follow the clearly marked APH signs to reach the car park check-in area.
When arriving at the APH Park & Ride with EV Charging near Gatwick Airport:
Drive through the automated barrier - it will lift automatically as you approach.
Follow the road markings to the arrival bays.
Head to Reception to check in your vehicle.
A trained and insured valet driver will charge your vehicle and move it to a secure parking bay.
Take the next available transfer bus to Gatwick Airport terminal.
Important: You do not need to wait while your car is being charged, it will be fully charged and ready for your return. Please allow enough time to check in and take the shuttle to the terminal.
When returning from your trip via Gatwick Airport:
After clearing Customs, follow signs to the APH transfer bus stop.
Head to Reception to collect your keys.
Your vehicle will be fully charged and ready to drive away.
For safety and comfort, only certain items can be carried on the APH transfer coaches. The following cannot be transported:
Bicycles
Surfboards or windsurf boards
Other large or bulky items of similar size
Snowboards and skis are permitted.
If you have booked EV charging, please note the following:
Your vehicle must arrive with at least 5% battery charge
You will need to bring your own charging cable
Your vehicle will be charged to full capacity during your stay
